In the sailor’s house from 1725 you can visit the living room and the parlour. In addition, there are exhibitions on the way the North Frisians obtained salt and on the seafaring history of the Halligen. [There are several small islands in the North Sea off the Schleswig-Holstein coast called ‘Hallig’.] You can also learn about the famous sailing ship “Preussen”, which was led by the Hallig inhabitant Captain Boye Petersen.
