In this museum, set up in the "Landhaus Friedrichsruh", historical memorabilia and personal utensils of Otto von Bismarck, depictions of significant events and persons as well as important documents are on display. Among other things, the painting "The Proclamation of the German Empire" by Anton von Werner can be seen. One of the rooms contains Bismarck's study, which was located in the former palace during his lifetime. The nearby mausoleum is the final resting place of the first Chancellor of the Reich. The Bismarck Museum is an institution of the Otto von Bismarck Foundation.
