The Probstei museum is housed in the restored buildings of the former Göttsch farm. It provides the visitors with informative, diversified impressions of domestic culture and living conditions on a farm in the 19th and early 20th century.
In addition, special exhibitions, markets and events are offered always.
Adults 2,- €,reduced 1,50 €, children (6 and more years) 1,- €;
Family reduction: children of 6 and more years 1st and 2nd child 0,50 € each, free admission for further children;
groups (whith more than 10 persons): adults 2,- €, children and adolescent 1,- €; educational programs for groups 20,- €;
guided tours: free (we ask for a voluntary contribution)
Lectures, readings, music and theatre events in irregular succession during the main season., Additionally, there are accompanying activities on current special exhibitions., All offers can be adjusted age-appropriate. Two different offers can be combined with each other.

Arriving by car
The Probstei museum is centrally located in Ostseestraße which leads to Schönberg beach. You find the museum diagonally opposite of police and fire brigade. There are parking facilities at the museum., By bus: from Kiel ZOB (central bus station) to Schönberg, From Lübeck: via Eutin and Preetz (federal road B 76), From the eastern part of Kiel: via Probsteierhagen resp. federal road B 502 to Schönberg
