Was ist die gesellschaftliche Polykrise? Wie können wir die Erkenntnisse des Schwarzen Feminismus nutzen, um neue Visionen für die Gesellschaft zu entwickeln? Wir laden herzlich zur Premiere des visionären Kurzfilmes „Black Feminism & The Polycrisis“ ein, der von Stipendiat:innen des THE NEW INSTITUTE in Hamburg gedreht wurde. Der Film setzt sich auf kreative und fesselnde Weise mit den verflochtenen Krisen unserer Welt auseinander, betrachtet durch die Brille des Schwarzen feministischen Denkens.

Im Anschluss an die Filmvorführung findet eine Podiumsdiskussion mit den Stipendiat:innen und Filmemacher:innen statt – ein Gespräch an der Schnittstelle von Kunst, Kritik, Aktivismus und Wissenschaft!

Die Veranstaltung findet im Gr. Hörsaal in englischer Sprache statt.

What is the polycrisis? How can we use the insights of black feminism to create new visions of society?Join us for a special evening at the museum as we premiere the thought-provoking and visionary short film, „Black Feminism & The Polycrisis“ made by fellows at THE NEW INSTITUTE in Hamburg. The event features a screening of the film that creatively and captivatingly addresses our world’s entangled crises through the lens of Black feminist thought.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the esteemed fellows and filmmakers themselves. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a dynamic conversation at the intersection of art, criticism, activism, and academia.

The event will be in english language and at the Great Lecture Hall.
