Description
Since its opening in October 2022, the Achilles Foundation Glass Museum has offered contemporary glass art a new home in northern Germany. In the spectacular architectural ambience of Q21, the former Barmbek hospital that has been converted into a listed building, you will find the newly created museum's collection of more than 400 contemporary glass sculptures on around 1,000 square metres. Light-flooded rooms over four metres high provide a worthy setting for the breathtaking works. Regularly changing special exhibitions and vernissages invite visitors to interact with artists and engage with their work. Let yourself be inspired by the different forms of this unique art form during a visit.
