geb. 17.3.1733 in Lüdingsworth-Westerende, gest. 26.4.1815 in Meldorf;
ab 1757 Studium der Mathematik und Astronoimie in Göttingen, 1760 Leutnant im Ingenieurkorps in Kopenhagen, 1761-1767 Orientreise mit v. Haven, Foreskål, Cramer, Baurenfeind und Bergren. Als einziger Überlebender trat er im November 1766 die Rückreise durch Kleinasien, Konstantinopel, Rumänien und Polen an und traf 1 Jahr später in Kopenhagen ein. Ab Juli 1778 Justizrat und Landschreiber in Meldorf.
